Data Retention
Data retention controls how long Flakiness.io stores your test data and attachments. Each project can configure its own retention periods, up to the limits of the organization’s billing plan.
Retention Settings
Section titled “Retention Settings”There are two independent retention periods:
Data Retention
Section titled “Data Retention”Controls how long test results, metadata, and analytics data are stored.
- Default: determined by your organization’s plan (typically 365 days)
- Range: 1 day to the plan maximum
- What’s deleted: test results, run metadata, computed statistics
Attachments Retention
Section titled “Attachments Retention”Controls how long test artifacts (screenshots, videos, traces) are stored.
- Default: same as data retention
- Range: 1 day to the data retention period
- What’s deleted: attachment files in blob storage
Setting a shorter attachments retention than data retention is useful when you want to keep test results for a long time but don’t need to store large artifact files.
Configuration
Section titled “Configuration”Go to your project’s Settings → Usage tab. Both settings are available as input fields with the plan maximum shown for reference.
Changes take effect after saving. The platform schedules cleanup of expired data automatically.
